on any given day you can find any of the following pictures taking place [for the most part...]
teachers on the computers in the escuelita [aka school room]...
kiddos reading books in the biblioteca [aka library]...
kiddos playing in the new sandbox [SO fun!]
and if you came to campus right now, you would be seeing a LOT of this going on...
any moms want to guess what they're doing...??
yup, picking lice! YUCK!
jodi requested that someone send a magic wand to make it all go away :-] i whole heartedly agree with her! haha
there are also kids who just look cute like this all the time... sometimes it makes disciplining a little difficult for me... :-]
you can also find kids asking homework questions...
and then you have the kids who are procrastinators and play instead of doing homework :-]
there are also hard workers...
you can also find this little guy being adorable!!!!
sorry i didn't turn the picture before i uploaded it...
at the casa rota [the broken house] our awesome shop guys recently put up a new fence in the back of the house... check'er out!
look at that rain storm int he background! too bad it wasn't on campus raining... :-|
our shop guys are so on-top-of-it that i had to show this off... there are 2 doors
a little one, and then a BIG one for driving through to unload and load stuff - how smart are they!?! yay!
some sweet pictures from my way home...
beautiful sky this afternoon...
looks like a pretty decent flowing piece of water huh?
oh, that's not a river...
IT'S MY STREET!!!
ok, technically i have to take a right off of this street and then i'm on my street. but still. my power steering went out because the water was so deep!
eeeeeeek!
so in other updates...
monday i went to the states - it was crazy, but nice to get away and be alone.
it was the first time i've really be alone since finding out about mom's cancer so it was much needed.
mom is keeping her spirits up, which is great. i'm thankful for that. attitude plays such a big part in your health. i'm not going to lie, it's very hard to be here while my family goes through this back in Indiana. i've been doing pretty well with it all though -- i'm not bursting out into tears anymore at the push of a button, so that's good! :-]
please continue to pray for her - for the family - for me.
it's appreciated more than you'll ever be able to understand. thank you.
