right now magdalena is kind of like a huge party.
it's actually rather annoying to be honest.
they are honoring "Father Kino" and it's been going on for over a week now. it hasn't been near as bad this year as it has been in the past, but it's still annoying. we only live a few blocks (like 5) from the centro where most of the partying takes place and it is NOISY! <listen to video>
last night i went to bed with a headache... and this morning i woke up with one too! after thinking about it for awhile i think it's because i went to sleep with the sound of a blanket auctioneer (yes, that's right -- he auctions blankets) and drums! NOT what i call a restful night of sleep. :-| i never thought i'd say this, but i can't wait for the weekend to be over and for monday to come!

perla went grocery shopping with me one day. we had fun! she's so talkative that she just says hi to strangers and starts up convos with about anyone. haha. needless to say, she stayed in the seat of the cart the entire time... lol

the girls were playing "members of church" and wearing veils. i cracked up at this because most AC kids that i know used to play "church" and play "baptism" - i never did that so it's kind of foreign to me. however, i love seeing our kids playing it! it's hilarious! they sing out of the hymn books and everything!

i had a child say 'here rocky, hold these' so i put them on! me and belinda. i cut her hair the other day so it's no longer this long - but she's still as beautiful!

OH, one other thing. i'm thinking - actually i'm pretty decided on - getting a new camera. but i'd like one that is actually for photography! you know, with lenses to change and stuff! i am camera illiterate, so if any of you readers are camera literate and would like to help me out, i'd be all for taking your suggestions!
