well i made it to IL safe and sound. i actually had a direct flight for once which was SO NICE. oh i loved it. but of course i had to sit next to the lady that took garlic pills. that part was not-so-very-pleasant. but i survived. :-] wednesday night these guys below had a birthday party for me!

there were a ton of people at their house! we ate supper, played a few games, and just hung out. i got hit in the face with culture shock like never before. that was real fun in moment (sarcasm) but God helped me through and not too many people noticed when i had to slip off to be alone for a few minutes. i don't really think i've ever experienced that before, but i hope it doesn't happen again -- though it probably will.
any rate, back to the part...

they blindfolded me, spun me in circles, TWO different times - i don't think they remembered that i turned 26, not 16. i seriously thought the 2nd time i was going to puke but thankfully i kept it down. that could have been bad. lol
i was having a slightly hard time hitting hitting the dumb thing, and couldn't stop laughing.
eventually i just knocked it off but it wasn't quite opened. then we played baseball with it and after wacking it 3 times it FINALLY broke open. and we had some GOOD candy! :-]
