so mom emailed me this morning. 

they had to put our dog to sleep today. 

i must say, i've never ever ever had a dog like jules. 

she was so yippy sometimes it drove us nuts, but she was a wonderful part of our family.

rat dog...

julesies...

papools...

pupus...

she had LOTS of nicknames. :-] 

i remember the first day we got her. she was running all over the house and yard like a crazy puppy. :-] i was 13 i think. maybe 14. she had a good long life -- full of fat free doggie treats (she was a little on the heavy side according to the vet haha), camping, and golf cart rides. i'm so thankful that mom & pops decided to get another dog after having 2 failed. 

its funny how we get so attached to our pets. mom & pops actually had 3 dogs - snickers, emily, and jules. now they're down to 2. i'm sure home won't be quite the same when i get there in a few weeks. it will be different without her around. but i know she was almost miserable before they put her to sleep so it was for the better.
