as promised...

an extremely random catch all post :-] enjoy - i'll do my best to describe what was going on, but to be honest i really have no idea when everything happened. :-] too much in too short of a time frame i guess. enjoy the pics!

for a few weeks i was helping out at the casa rota.
the last day of school the kiddos had to dress up as something christmas.
so osmara was a christmas tree!
pretty much the best costume out of all the kids in my opinion!
and our kiddos were candy canes! they loved it. we tied ribbons in their hair with mini-candy canes as well.

disclaimer: this little girl knows absolutely no english which is why it's all the more funny for heidi and i

i had a trip home to IN/IL.
the 3 of us in the back of the car - michael didn't feel like taking his picture..
after about 10 pics, we finally got a decent one out of him. little brothers... sometimes they just like to be difficult. :-]

once i got to IL i saw a lot of my friends. we all got together for an amazing lunch at Monical's that ended up being kind of an emotional lunch. with me in mexico and renee in haiti it was one of those moments where we realized that we're all going in different directions, and who knows when we'll all be together again! it could be years down the road... but we know that God is in control and when He wants us together, it'll work out again.
me, sharla, rach, renee, em, leaann, and kt

i got a chance to go and visit Fairview Haven which i hadn't done in awhile.
and i got to visit my most favorite resident ever - mrs. elsie b!
 she loves me <3 haha

we took a trip to hermosillo...

there was a very large snake that got loose. and when we reported it this was the response: oh if you don't mess with it, it will leave you alone.
whaaaaaaaaaat? how bout "oh i'll get someone to get it back in it's cage"??
joel started howling at the coyotes and before too long the kids were doing it... and then before too long after that the coyotes were actually howling back - it was hilarious!

on new years eve (or the day before) i had to go to the grocery store...
and had these little angels helping me out. well... when i say they helped... i mean they caused scenes and smiled and giggled and danced and ran into people in the cart and made my trip the santa fe a memorable one. :-]

i do have a few other pictures on my other camera so this is only the first part of the 'catch all posts'

stay tuned!
