wow i
i don't have any pictures right now that are mine that i can post...
but i do have some updates i can give you and follow with pictures sometime soon!
first off the bat... carissa is officially moved out of the house (insert BIG sad face here) and living at the girl's house...
and i have a new roommate - jessica!
and will have another new roommate, daniela and her daughter darilis, coming in february.
you can pray for smooth transitions and for our relationships together in the house. :-]
we've had 2 work teams so far this year - thankfully i've survived the both of them :-] i love it when work teams come down here. we're SO thankful for all the work they do - it's truly amazing how much gets done when they are here. we have a 3 week break before we start our next round.
in less than a week KT and Sharla will be coming down to visit me and i couldn't be more thrilled about it! i've had ONE visitor in almost 3 years of living here. ONE. UNO. that's it! so i'm SUPER SUPER SUPER happy they're coming. :-]
i'm starting to get on a sewing kick. i absolutely LOVE making my own stuff. a few weeks ago i made a very simple block/quilt blanket out of my old t-shirts. i had so many it was ridiculous. so i thought about mailing them into one of the places that would make it for me - pssssssh yeah right! $300 later for a simple blanket!?! i don't think so! so i decided to make my own and it turned out awesome! pictures to come of that.
so if you're a sewer, i'd be interested in what you suggest for sewing machines. i'd like to purchase my own, though as i was looking i see they can get kinda pricey. i don't want anything that's too confusing -- i'm a beginner sewer so i don't think i need all the bells & whistles of something fancy. email me or leave me a comment for this please!
i'm sure a lot more has happened/changed but i'm kinda drawing a blank at this point. hopefully i will get those pictures up sometime soon.
until then.... adios amigos!

practice up...I am coming to see YOU..in less than a month...and I won't be alone. Hope you can take the excitement...love and prayers!
ReplyDeleteBig sad face indeed! Blessings on that little casita and it's occupants!
